BUTYLGLYCOL change of classification

From 1st December 2023, BUTYLGLYCOL (CAS 111-76-2) will change its classification to toxic by inhalation within the European Community. For this reason, will become toxic by inhalation, according to the CLP regulation, all mixtures distributed by Dollmar containing butylglycol in quantities greater than or equal to 30%.

To enable our customers to maintain the correct business continuity, below we propose some alternative substances to butylglycol. These substances, belonging to the glycol ether family, are labelled with less impact on the environment and operators:
